Where did December Go????

Been gone for a while. Let's see….

* Flattened by a cold that made me miss 3 days of work and took 5 full days to get well enough to slog my way through a work day. It took a good 2 weeks to come to the point I could sleep comfortably because of getting plugged up. Absolutely miserable. Oh, and this was one of those rare colds that actually gave me insomnia. I am NOT a person that gets insomnia! Actually, I tend to sleep more than usual…

* Cut my hair. It was so long, I had to measure how much we snipped. Grand total of 7 1/2 inches, and the hair that was left STILL fell a little below my shoulders. No wonder my neck was hurting! I have enough hair on my head for 3 people, and that really starts getting heavy. I also did a quick calculation from the last time we cut my hair to about the same length and came up with an approximate growth rate a little above 3/4 inches a month. Consider most people's hair grows at 1/2 inch a month!

* The art got a little behind, but I'm finally starting to get back into it. The next page of Dreamers Cove webcomic is now up, and I've already finished inking the next one. Also added something new to my Deviant Art account, with more being prepared.

* To give my poor brain a rest after Nano, I've been doing lots of internet work. This includes upgrading the Gatchfanfic.com site including adding a Fanart gallery (Gatchaman, Battle of the Planets, G-Force, Eagle Riders). It's been great to see what other people have been up to art-wise! The upgrades to the site aren't finished yet, but I'm pleased at how far they have come so far. :)

* End of year stuff combined with training someone new at work. Yep, overtime it is.

There is more, but I think that's enough for now. ;)

As to writing, I'm happy to say that the break from the novel that was finished in November, and that I haven't looked at since, has paid off. I'm getting all sorts of ideas for the editing process and am making notes like crazy. Come January I'll be diving into that. More to report on that later!
